I'd selectively darken the black slightly on the existing dark segments (cat and ground areas).
Frame will be a good addition indeed.

BTW do you like that camera? It's cheap but it's the next best thing to a DSLR.

Poohblah, yes I love it. I got it after a year of using Canon Powershot A95. I was thinking about DSLR and this one and decided to got S3IS. It's not too big and also have professional feel. My friend got Canon EOS 400 and we realy can't see that big difference between those two. I also got wide conventer so now it's perfect camera for me.
